Scholarship Program

To:       All Qualified Volunteer Fire Departments, Fire Districts and Paid/Volunteer Fire Departments

 

Information Regarding:       ARIZONA STATE FIRE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 

 

Since 1986, the Arizona State Fire Training Committee has sponsored scholarships so that fire departments having limited training funds are given the opportunity to participate in the Arizona State Fire School to be held on September 4 - 8, 2013 at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel / Mesa Community Center.

 

We are pleased to announce that, again this year, we will be offering scholarships in the form of:

 

1.             Waived tuition to the Arizona State Fire School for up to two participants from each department.

 

2.             A $500.00 stipend, per department, to be applied towards transportation and lodging for both participants.

 

The purpose of this financial aid program is to assist those departments who could not, under other circumstances, afford to send personnel to the Arizona State Fire School.  Organizations meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:  

             
               
1.              Volunteer Fire Departments, Fire Districts and Paid/Volunteer Departments. 

                2.             Organizations will meet the current criteria set forth by the Scholarship Committee.
