2022 Arizona Fire School Merchandise

T-Shirts, Hats, Challenge Coins & Other Items

The non-profit Arizona State Fire Training Committee will be selling Fire School t-shirts, hats, challenge coins and other items to raise funds to support scholarship programs and Statewide Fire Service Training. Merchandise will only be available onsite, at the Arizona Fire School this year. 2021 Merchandise will also be available.

 

Tools of the Trade - Friday Night Expo,

Friday, September 9th, 2022 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The Friday Night Expo features displays of antique fire trucks, local fire apparatus and specialized equipment vendors, food trucks and music provided by a DJ. Also a hands on, up close visit from the critters of the Herpetological Society and other displays and entertaining activities.

This is a FREE family friendly event....so bring the kids down and join us Friday, September 9th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, near the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel (Host Hotel) and Mesa Convention Center.  Anyone interested in displaying an apparatus or specialty equipment (Technical Rescue, HazMat, etc...) please contact Tanja Tanner at 623-341-6543 or [email protected] 

Raffle Event - 

Saturday, September 10th, 2022 6:00pm - 8:00pm 

The non-profit Arizona State Fire Training Committee will hold a fund raising raffle on Saturday, September 10th at 6:00pm. Items donated by Training Committee members will be raffled to support Fire School activities. This is a fun, fast-paced raffle and everyone is welcome to attend. Ticket holders MUST be present to win. Raffle tickets may be purchased in the main lobby of the Mesa Convention Center or from any Committee member during Fire School.

Special Presentations

United Fire Firefighter of the Year

United Fire Equipment will present the Firefighter of the Year Award during the Opening Ceremonies. The individual recipient is honored based on contributions to life safety and the risks and sacrifices they take to help protect our communities.
Submit a nomination for an Extraordinary Hero you know NOW. Nominations must be received by August 10, 2022 and must be for an individual and for actions that have taken place between July 16, 2021 and July 15, 2022. The award recipient will be announced at the Opening Ceremonies of the 49th Annual Arizona Fire School on Thursday, September 8th at 8:30am.

Fire Investigator of the Year

The Arizona Chapter, International Association of Arson Investigators will name the individual who has been selected as a result of their exemplary skills in the field of fire investigation.

Arizona Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year

Each year the Arizona Fire and Burn Educators Association selects a Fire and Life Safety Educator of the Year.  The individual awarded this honor has made significant contributions to Fire and Life Safety Education, demonstrated outstanding work as an educator, has been successful in increasing public awareness about safety issues, serves as a positive role model in their community and exhibits a commitment to excellence in their educational efforts. Arizona Fire Service Hall of Fame
The Arizona Fire Service Hall of Fame was created by the Arizona State Fire Training Committee to honor the men and women who have provided distinguished service to the Arizona Fire Service. The inductees are selected from nominations received Statewide, from within the Fire Service and beyond.
Inductees to the Hall of Fame will be announced and honored during the Opening Ceremonies of the 49th Annual Arizona Fire School on Thursday, September 8th at 8:30am. A plaque in their honor will be placed at the Hall of Flame Fire Museum.
